The DMCT Awards celebrate emerging content creators demonstrating talent in Film, Animation, and Interactive Design.

To qualify, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Be currently enrolled in a formal education program (high school, university, or accredited training program), OR

• Be under the age of 25 and not employed professionally in their field.

Submitted work must have been completed after December 2024 and created as part of:

• A formal learning experience (such as a university or high school course), or

• An informal learning experience (such as independent study, workshops, or self-directed projects).

We recognize that emerging talent develops in many spaces, both inside and outside traditional classrooms.

• Files must be submitted as an MP4

• Maximum runtime is 3 minutes

If your original project exceeds 3 minutes, you must submit a selected segment (up to 3 minutes) that best represents your work.

Yes. Work created outside of a formal classroom setting is eligible, as long as it meets the age and employment criteria and was completed after December 2024.
